For all the Christians that watch you Cassie , thank you for playing this on Easter. The real reason for Easter.
When He said, "My God, my God why have you forsaken me?" He was quoting the 22nd Psalm letting them know that He knew what was going to happen. He is truly God and truly man.
I'm not an emotional person but when I watched this movie I had to stop several times. This made me realize how much Jesus loved us and I cried with every beating
When we saw this in the theater, it was pure silence when the audience exited the building. There was nothing you could say especially if you're a Christian. All I could hear in my heart was "I did this for YOU"
Growing up in a very non religious house hold, I remember watching as a kid and crying. 30 years later, I finally found Christ and I'm grateful for his sacrifice, we didn't deserve it after all he went through.
"Listen, He prays for you." That gets me every time.
The actor for Barabas was converted to Christianity during filming. He was originally an atheist, but sitting the scene where he looks into the eyes of Christ (Jim) he says he actually saw the face of Christ, not Jim. That why he looked again, even though it wasn't scripted. In his eyes, you're seeing a man see Christ for the first time.
Remeber he did this for you thats reading this. Praise the lord he has risen
Before my husband passed away, we had made a commitment to watch this every Easter. As a full remembrance of the sacrifice Jesus made for us. It is heart wrenching. Thank You, Love you Jesus!
Don't ever apologize for crying while watching this movie Cassie. I cried too. It helped to remind me of what Jesus did for people like you and me.
