Fun Fact: When Ben Affleck first arrived on the set, he told director Phil Alden Robinson, "Nice working with you again." Phil Alden Robinson said, "What do you mean 'again'?" Ben Affleck explained that when Phil Alden Robinson was filming the scene in Boston's Fenway Park for "Field of Dreams" (1989), he and Matt Damon were amongst the thousands of extras. Also, I am glad that you're the first one to react to this movie on here. No better person to do so and it's an underrated spy thriller film.

You should listen to the audio commentary with the author Tom Clancy. When he introduces himself, he says "Hi, I'm Tom Clancy, the author of the book you ignored."

"They nuked Baltimore." This is what the person with me in the theatre said. I'd read the book, so I'd expected it (in the book it's Denver), but movie audiences didn't expect them to nuke Baltimore.

You forgot to mention Patriot Games. Han Solo, Darth Vader and Mace Windu all in one movie.

The book is great. The suspense, and the process of realizing they aren't going to stop the bomb are really something.

The Conversation with Gene Hackman is considered one of the greatest thrillers ever. You might want to check it out. It's a Hackman top 10.

11:45 Novichok is actually a real nerve agent. Itโ€™s public knowledge now. There was an assassination attempt of a Russian defector and his daughter. It was sprayed on their doorknob they touched before going to a park in England. A perfume bottle of it was found in a dumpster nearby. Whatโ€™s surprising is how Tom Clancy would have known about it way back when he wrote this story. Iโ€™m sure the US knew about it but I didnโ€™t know it was public. It was also used when Putin tried to assassinate Alexei Navalny, his political opposition.
