This Supreme Court has single-handedly undermined decades if not centuries of precedence. What the hell is the point in the Supreme Court anymore.

Zohran Mamdani might have been the worst thing to ever happen to the establishment democrats. Because while dems have held power they claimed that people couldnt have the things they wanted Because they just didnt have the power to do so. Zohran proved that was mostly bullshit and not the do nothing dems have to actually work for the people and not to line their pockets.

I worked for many years in animal fostering, rehab and release, TNR, etc. And the terrible truth is that shelters are just so overwhelmed. They don't have the room or the funds possible to care for all the animals. I remember being an optimistic 20-something and just getting into the animal welfare world, and I got a slap of reality when I worked at a shelter and saw their back room. Literally every single wall, from floor to ceiling, were stacked cages. Each cage had at least three kittens in it. It was the height of "kitten season". There could have easily been two hundred kittens in that tiny room. And only a very small number of them would ever get adopted. I've also been inside euthanasia centers and seen the walls of animals waiting their turn to be put down. It's a grim reality, there just aren't enough people willing to adopt and/or foster animals. Edit: and if you're reading this get your damn pet spayed or neutered!
