Jesus Christ, even as someone who wants to accelerate humanity's space capacity and abilities, there's no actual use in a mars colony before we can even reliably manage a miniature colony system in orbit let alone millions of miles away
"Clean water, air, food, medicine, healthy people and a functional government" are needed for us to live on mars ........... we don't even have that on earth right now sadly.

Let me just give a little extra context into the space cooling thing: if you were looking at a flame on earth, the ratio of heat transfer is simplified to 30% radiation and 70% convection. In space only radiation is effective, and you don’t actually freeze the moment you touch the vacuum because nothing is there to take the heat. So when they say “free cooling of space” I want to slam my face into the keyboard in frustration. You will not have a data center, you will have an inferno
One thing people never consider about life on another planet is the immune system. After separation from Earth's natural biome, some or most people will not be able to come back to Earth for risk of not being able to defend themselves against pathogens without vaccines.
