Irish man, in the US for 20 years, married to a US citizen, with work visa and green card in the pipeline picked up off the street five months ago. Sent to detention centre in El Paso described as modern day concentration camp. He did an interview with an Irish radio station. It's worth listening to.

Twin Cities resident here— JVL thank you SO MUCH for pointing out that it’s not over here even if the media narrative has shifted away once Bovino was out. Literally the day before yesterday two ICE agents pretended to have car trouble, a Latino man came out to help, and then he was swarmed and kidnapped by ICE (there’s now video online from a neighbor’s doorbell or security camera). They’re trying to blend more and it’s more ‘secret police’ vibe than overt shock-and-awe, and it’s not over. Thank you so much for acknowledging that.
