Brisbane Lions supporter here...nothing but the utmost respect for Mason Cox and everything he has achieved. Anybody bagging him can "get a dog up ya"

As an American, living in Melbourne only a bit longer than Cox, huge AFL fan, Collingwood supporter and someone who would've LOVED to play the sport as a kid but had baseball, basketball and football instead ... it's an exceptional treat to get to see Mason play and fall in love with this sport the same way I have. Love the story on him.

He sounds like a Australian that spent a bit of time in the USA.

Mason Cox has played 129 games for the Collingwood Magpies and has kicked 123 goals in his AFL career. He is predominantly a ruckman who floats into the forward line on occasions, usually late in the game. Cox was the ruckman in Collingwood’s AFL premiership win in 2023. So, he has been a success story.

Such a genuine, passionate man. We are so happy to have had him at Collingwood.

We love Coxy at Collingwood. For a guy who never grew up here or had any idea about the game he has achieved what many players never have. He is an AFL Premiership player. Great personality and tries his best every time.
