The stalker’s perspective story was the most unsettling one to me, thank you Joel 😊
I’m so happy for the mother and her two precious sons. They deserve every happiness after that step dad.
My favourite part of let's read is when he says, "it's readin time" it really touches my heart
The story of the poor mom having to deal with that step dad was so heavy 😥. This woman just trying to raise her 12 yr old son & having to deal with the father that doesn't want to move on is infuriating!!! Hope that family can finally have some peace
Whether the stalker POV is true or not, it's enlightening to hear it from their perspective instead of the victims' perspective.
Wow, that violent Stepdad story hit home for me, for years we'd run from my dad who was also a violent alcoholic, many nights we'd had to run in the middle of the night leaving personal belongings behind. I too saw my poor mom beat to a bloody mess beyond recognition when I was a kid, thankfully she was finally able to get divorced and free of him, he made numerous attempts of getting us back only to fall back on his promises of "changing" for the better. Haven't spoken to him in 15 years after we got in a heated argument and I left him a bloodied beaten mess, haven't spoken to that motherfucker since and last I heard he's living alone and lost some toes to diabetes, karma is slowly getting his sorry excuse for a human. The day he dies will be one where no one will attend his funeral.
When someone describes themselves as “a nice guy”, that’s reason to be skeptical. I’m glad he didn’t disappoint! Even took it way to far!
The last story: “Your anger gives you great power. But if you let it, it will destroy you.” - Ducard, “Batman Begins”
The abusive step-father story, I am so glad that OP's mom survived and that OP wasn't arrested as he had shot his psychotic step-father in self defence. I hope that the SD's family don't get their way, their son/brother/relative was a monster who got what he deserved. And the last story, it's interesting to hear a story from the stalker's point of view. It was creepy but interesting.
The stalker said Cory had everything he wasn’t “tall” but then he claims to be 6’2.
