Building off the back of the brilliant works by Tolkein the Two Towers is an absolute masterpiece. Throughout this video we're gonna be breaking down the movie and also always going through the book along with it. This will contain all the easter eggs, hidden details and extra bits of trivia that make the movie precious to me. I don't wanna waste anymore of your time so with that out the way, lets get into the video...while you hit the thumbs up. - Now when we were went over the fellowship of the rings you might remember we talked about Jacksons deal with Miramax. Originally they were planning on just making two movies with the initial scripts being written just for that. It was only when Jackson got out of the deal and signed up with New Line that they realised they needed a three part epic. However they still had a lot of the work done and thus Jackson didn't initially have a script for the Two Towers. Instead we were gonna get Fellowship and then it culminating in the War Of The Ring. Now because of that the two towers is the most different to it's book out of the three. There's even vast chapters that when doing my notes for I just wrote RETURN OF THE KING just so when we get to that movie I can go back to this. Certain elements in it are either made up entirely or they've been shifted about to add certain scenes to this. If you've read the book then you'll know it actually begins with Boromirs death which Jackson placed at the end of two towers. The Wargs scene was also originally in Fellowship which we talked about in our breakdown for that. This is something that happens after the try and scale Caradras and it forces them to journey to the mines. Aaragorn then ends up seemingly falling to his death with this entire subplot being completely made up. This also comes along with Osgiliath which is something the hobbits don't visit.
