Hearing her coworker call her “my Mamta” just made me so sad. She was so loved.. if not by her husband. He robbed her from so many, including their daughter.

He didn't expect the outpouring of support for Mamta, he thought he could brush this under the rug.
The support and love for Mamta made me tear up. Even though her family wasn’t here, the community became her family. Justice for Mamta!!
As someone who is married to a Nepalese citizen and surrounded by Nepali people on a daily basis, he was using his religion to disguise who he was. When on your period, it is a part of the culture, but that does not mean you treat the women like demons. My husband talks about how when a woman is on her period, she should be surrounded by women, especially her first period. She does not need to walk, she is given everything she needs and left alone. This man was a monster and tried to justify his behavior. Thank you Kendall for showing support and speaking on this story!
