So this is a full circle moment in which I thought I’d go back to the past and bring you our most indepth deep dive on the movie. Throughout this video we’re gonna be going through the film, explaining everything in it and also pointing out all the hidden details. It was a joke…it was a bad joke Now Tenet is something Christopher Nolan thought up back in the 90s. Nolans films revolve heavily around time with him using it as a device throughout a lot of his films. At the time he was developing memento which tells a story both forwards and backwards. But what if this manipulation of time went beyond simply being used as a narrative device. What if it went beyond just the presentation and was actually part of the plot? This is something Nolan was fascinated with and he worked out the details over the years. Studying physics, thermodynamics, the grandfather paradox, feynman and Wheelers absorber theory and Maxwell's demon, he started putting things in place. Being noted as taking 20 years to develop in total he finally started on the script in 2014.
