6:08 Yes, right that's her ring finger. Do you remember in the first movie, when Beetlejuice was trying to marry Lydia. He took a severed finger out of his pocket to get the ring ?
Just for context, Betelgeuse always had an ex wife, in the first movie the ring he has for the wedding scene is on her finger. Thought I do agree I’d wished they had focused on her and give her a bigger impact on the story more than just being in the last scene.
I love them both for the different vibes they each give. This sequel made me laugh so hard. I have one complaint… Poor Bob. He deserved better
"whatever you go'' "Whatever you do" "I'll be right here waiting for you" ❤🌹🎶
Catherine O`Hara is on fire, what a great performance
The Italian actor who voiced BJ in the original version dubbed for Italian release was who you heard during Beetlejuice's origin story.
I think Astrid's story with the tree house guy could have been a full story alone, it was too short and Beetlejuice's wife could have been a whole story of its own with her as the main villain. This is like 3 full stories cut down into one so you don't get enough of each.
"Oh no! Bob's going to get sucked!" Now that's a keeper😅
Somebody compared this movie to the new "Ghostbusters" where a teen is tricked by a dead character. So when the boy appears and he and Astrid start chatting, I'm like, "Is he the dead guy?"
I watched this in the theaters. When they went inside his house, I was like “he’s dead.” So many context clues. The 90s stuff in his room, his references that she didn’t understand, they didn’t show his parents faces, Lydia saw him. It was there the entire time.
