Bro is trying to milk Devin for content to make up for that $500
The reason it takes Devin so long to do everything is that under the hood it’s queuing these requests to an army of outsourced developers
Devin’s that guy that asks “what is python?” In your machine learning class
Devin is going to watch this some day
I have to say, this would be an interesting hackathon challenge. A group of developers have to coax devin to do something, a game or a program. But you are also graded on how hopped up on drugs your discussion looks like from an outside observer. Negative points for any code you have to commit yourself.
I love how it started off by prime trying to convince Devin to code like an ape, but it actually lead to Devin convincing Prime to roleplay an ape.
Banana driven development is the future
devin filling its context window with bananas instead of code context 🤣🦍🦍🦍🍌🍌🍌🍌
We can only hope that 20 years from now universities are teaching the 'King Primeagen Ape' technique to future software prompt engineers.
Imagine getting a job at a startup where the first iteration of the product was written by Devin, looking through the commit logs and seeing "🦍APE STRONK FIX MIGHTY PADDLE BUG🦍" and wondering what the hell you've let yourself in for. I'm going to propose the APE STRONK commit message standard at my job so we can be AI-ready when Devin takes our jobs in 3 months.
