Erin Moriarty Reviews Three Defining Investigations: From Perfect Crime Facades to Digital Trails
Analyze how investigators broke through meticulously planned cover-ups—from a seemingly perfect crime scene to exploiting digital footprints and shattered family relationships—to secure justice across three complex homicide cases.
Short Summary
- Pierce the myth of the "perfect crime" when investigators discover a horrifyingly young killer left behind overlooked forensic clues against all initial assumptions.
- Follow the intricate digital and testimonial trail in Missouri that unraveled a thousand-mile murder-for-hire plot targeting a holistic doctor.
- Trace how layered deception, faked emails, and recovered remains exposed a son who fabricated an entire reality to hide his deadly secret.
This compilation features three separate, high-impact investigations anchored by correspondent Erin Moriarty. First, examine the baffling 2013 double homicide in Davis, California, where the lack of evidence pointed toward a calculated deception by a 15-year-old. Next, review the saga of Dr. Teresa Severs in Florida, where an uncanny suspect resemblance led deep into Missouri, tracking electronic footprints to reveal a conspiracy. Finally, see how modern technology provided critical timeline proof in Wisconsin, exposing a son who murdered his parents to maintain a lengthy facade of success.

He’s a little cunning EVIL CON . He’s horrifyingly dangerous to anything that breathes to live . Toss that key away . There’s no hope there and there never ever will be . My deepest condolences to the family members . ❤🕊️🕊️
Daniel himself admitted that he felt no empathy or sympathy…that’s psychopathy, and it can’t be cured.
And even if he HAS changed for the better, so what??? Crimes have to paid for!
Dead eyes, along with dad. Lock him up, there is no cure for psychopathy. Evil
The first case- when the judge announced his appeal is denied, a brief moment of rage flashes across his face. THAT is the true person, a textbook psychopath. He should NEVER be set free.
A psychopath serial killer in the making.. he should never be free to walk outside of a prison. No one is safe from this kind of sadistic evil
You can't just 'recover' from having no empathy and killing 2 people for the pleasure of killing at the age of 15. He is very dangerous.
What’s really scary… This kid almost got away with it. And he would have done it again.
He literally said, I have no empathy for anybody. He's a psychopath. There are no mental health issues.
I have never seen a scarier case of a demon pretending to be human.
