The point of the story to me that stuck out was never get in a strangers car even held at gun point. Run like hell even if you might get shot. RIP to all the children.

The little girl who faked an asthma attack during an attempted abduction is so incredible. What an absolutely wonderful girl.

Those pathetic twin Karens are sickening. Lies that ran so deep they couldn’t even keep track of them and stole the life of an innocent man to cover up their twisted BS.

As far as the Maya Millette case, I believe the police REALLY dropped the ball! For WAY too long! But kudos to the Navy investigator who was so diligent and NEVER gave up! What an outstanding and empathetic man!! ❤

“Absolutely chilling. Every story here is packed with emotion and mystery, but the Sara Anne Wood case really broke my heart. Decades later and her family is still fighting for answers. 48 Hours does an incredible job bringing these forgotten cases back into the spotlight.”

Truths prevail. I didn't believe and I won't believe the story of the twins.

The fact that Kasem was moved from a legitimate care facility - against doctor's advice- into this random woman's crappy little home speaks volumes. He needed to be in a fully equipped care facility where he could be watched by DOCTORS and monitored by qualified staff. He had plenty of money to be in a top notch place. His wife is a monster.

I can't believe Jean Kasem accidentally slipped up and told the truth when she said, (@4:00:38) "He looked up at me and he was scared to death." That is literally the only thing she hasn't lied about. I bet Casey was absolutely terrified when he seen her and probably thought she was going to take him out of the hospital & torture him again.

That Maya Millete story is so chilling. I was married to a guy like that. Very religious, saw his faith as a great way to grab power over others. He pulled out the stops to try to force me to remain in the marriage. I got out the moment he began threatening to hurt me if I kept disobeying him. I'm glad I took that threat seriously. I escaped 30 years ago and it's still difficult to look at that time.

Watching Sarah’s father break down absolutely shattered my heart into a thousands pieces. Her poor parents and family experienced the absolute worst nightmare any person can ever endure. The monsters who do this usually have a prior conviction. I think it should be an immediate life sentence for anyone who hurts a child, they should NEVER get a chance to reoffend.
