Kristine Kirk was a 44-year-old mother of three living in Denver’s Observatory Park neighborhood when a desperate 911 call turned into a nightmare. Kris told the dispatcher her husband, Richard Kirk, was hallucinating after consuming a marijuana edible and that their children were inside the home, then, moments later, the line went silent as she was shot while still on the call.
