33:46 Real men truly love their dogs.. to the point where it breaks us when they die. I love Jax so much, I don't want another dog I want him forever. He's helped me through my combat ptsd, visiting me in hospitals.. always being so connected to me, unbelievably connected. He was taken from his mother early so he imprinted onto me. He actually tried to nurse with me lol. He getting old, my dad is dying too, at the same time. My dads advice is to get a puppy before your dog dies so they know each other and the pup is taught by the elder. There's something passed down between them
And now I'm wailing—sobbing big, blubbery, existentialist tears. Thanks a lot.
I feel like "smart refrigerators" is a metaphor for "smart vibrators and sexbots"
Can you do an episode on music? What happens in the brain and how we can use that in our advantage (both creating and listening to music)? I also would love a little excursion about synesthesia.
Having French bulldogs myself and this bond is something the most talented poet couldn’t describe adequately. It’s pure love and loyalty, sorry for your loss.
You guys talking about your dogs was powerful
Having gone through the process of putting my dog down recently, the discussion around Homer and Costello hit home. Thank you for sharing. ❤😢
The first 2 minutes make me think of my favorite movie, The 5th Element! ❤ Super excited to listen to this podcast. Thank you!
I know what it means to put your dog companion to sleep due to cancer progression. Thank you for putting your heart out there. Respect and support!
