"Am I ruining your day?" "Do you not want to spend time with me?" Nah, this wife knows exactly what she's doing to OP.
First Story: Honestly, OP should just leave his wife. She constantly claims to support and encourage self care but does anything and everything to sabotage OP's attempts at self care. OP's wife is very inconsiderate and sounds controlling. Also, OP's wife clearly knows what she is doing when she asked him "am I ruining ur day?" OP seriously needs to divorce this woman
Third Story: Literally anyone would react that way if someone sneaks into their home, PTSD or not. "Pranks" like that is a sure fire way to get shot.
Is the wife in the first story abusive? This feels like abuse, whether intentional or not. Never giving someone a moment to breathe, and being subtly guilt trippy when they actually ask for space. I'd lose my damn mind. This man has the patience of a Saint.
She is purposely trying to make OPs staycation miserable, I would have gone outside to read my book at the park or smth and turned off my phone.
2nd story: if dad cant respect his daughter's graduation, why should his daughter respect him???
Hearing intro: Oh dear. After hearing the story: Zero to pissed in a moment, my goodness, she has talent.
Guy in the first story sounds like he needs a room with a lock on it and some noise cancelling headphones
I've learned that when people push your buttons repeatedly despite you telling them to stop like in stories 1 and 2 it's not an accident. They're very intentionally trying to irritate you and make you react negatively. Either because they enjoy seeing you irritated or so they can use your negative reaction to victimize themselves. They want to see how far they can push you so they can prime you to be a doormat.
That third story... Asshole in law got what he deserved. You can literally scare someone to death. This is the consequences of his actions.
