Description

WOW A Raven AND Starfire spotlight?? We're eating good. These two episodes capture everything I love about this show. The dynamics between the characters are so strong that they can thrive in truly any genre, whther that be traditional superhero, monster flick, or teenage romance. Seeing Starfire get so jealous over Robin is almost as fun as seeing the boy come up against the show's first genuine Batman Rogue... only to not register him at all. But, hey, at least they managed to pack in enough nightmare fuel to keep me from sleeping long enough to edit this together! Thanks you scary weirdos! Edited by: Saint Josie!

Fun fact, Kitten is named after the kind of moth this Killer Moth is based on, the Poplar Kitten.

I can't lie, I always have a soft spot for the 'Villian who actually loves his family' trope and I think this Killer Moth episode is a great example of how to do it.

Fun fact, Tamaraneans, at least in the comics, are descended from feline analogues. So as if crazy girl's name being kitten didn't add enough charge to it being a cat fight...

Killer Moth was one of my favorite villains in this show. I was pretty disappointed when I met his comic incarnation.

To be fair Robin said he doesn't dance not that he couldn't dance there is a difference.

I've always presumed that Control Freak was intended as a wild, comedic reimagination of a classic Teen Titans villain named Film Freak.

2:20 I never noticed this before but I fucking love that they have a fight with a cardboard samurai in a movie store and they end it with a Kurosawa slash that’s so fucking good lmao.

"How powerful are remotes in this world?" Well, it's a kid's superhero TV show in the early 2000s with a lot of creative liberties, so... Yes.
