This isn't a Sonic and Shadow game, it's a Shadow game with Sonic in it.

The level design, gameplay, visuals and animation quality here is unironically the best it's ever been for the series holy shit. Hope Sonic Team keeps this up.
The fact that sonic team was able to deepen shadow's character while literally leaving everything about its lore untouched and do so in such a spectacular fashion is mind blowing to me.
