I’d like to argue YouTube shorts, reels etc contributed to the issue. I do not believe it is solely on Tik tok and there are positives to the platform. This is not an app issue, it’s a control issue. Bad parenting etc.

as if its not possible to uninstall TikTok and enable a parental lock, if your kid's brain is rotted by TikTok and you allowed them to install the app and use it so much that it literally rotted their brain can you really sit there and take no accountability just blame the app because it didnt install itself on there

I think they do it every year the way an abuser raises their arm and their victim flinches. They know that people are going to react, so they keep doing it. Can't keep a culture of fear without all levels of fearmongering
