Unfortunately, the intended audience is not watching Star Talk.
War does not determine who is right, only who is left.
That's the paradox of our species. We have mastered the laws of physics and engineering far more effectively than we have mastered the ability to coexist.
When Chuck didn't show up, I knew Neil was really serious this time.
Humans don't need a common enemy, we need a common GOAL.
What are your thoughts on science's role in warfare? Do you think there will come a time where "we will all get along", and if so what would it take to bring the World together in that way?

Humanity remembers through history, but individuals only learn through experience and because every generation is new, the same mistakes return.
This is a conversation I often have with my students. We’ve become too powerful as a species to survive if we don’t learn to collaborate :/
