Have you ever been on a dating site? In no case have I ever seen a liberal woman who was not screaming about how she refuses to date a Trump voter. In fact, just 2 weeks ago a woman I met at a gathering was interested in me until she found out I was not a Democrat. Conversely, I will not consider any woman dumb enough to say the word 'patriarchy'. If anything, the trend is continuing more toward polarization.
woman - it's not fair when a man makes more money then me also women - I want a man that makes more money then me
I went to Trade School/Technical College. Wasn't surrounded by women and all we got was the "Nerdy Engineer " or "Grease Monkey who works in a factory..." attitude/rejections when we tried to socialize outside of the campus. Same with after graduation. No one wanted to date us except for a foodie call. But everyone wanted to be our friends when they needed something built/fixed/repaired
Judging from the title alone, this episode could keep going indefinitely.
I was always told that banning polygamy was for the sake of women. But it seems that the women naturally gravitate toward that end anyway. It was actually for men that polygamy was outlawed. All the women being monopolized by relatively few men, leaves a lot of leftover men with no spouse. Useful only for manual labor and being sent off to war.
I No longer care what women want, Haven't done for 17 years, I heard this saying 40+ years ago. ""If you give a woman what they want, It's not what she needs. If you give a woman what she needs, It's not what she wants!"" It has, and always will be true about women.
that lamp analogy at the end was crazy spot-on. feels so relevant to me as i'm guilty of approaching dating from the standpoint of having the perfect house built and looking for a specific lamp to fill in.
My two bits after almost 2 decades of marriage. I see all kinds of friends who end up in in serious conflicts\divorced because they never asked serious questions about their long term plans about their family life together. When people come from a shared religious and or ethnic background, they share some of the same operating system. Another point missed is to look seriously into the kind of family your potential spouse comes from. Character is Fate, as Hericlitus says. So is community.
"Stephen Graham is as white as they come" made me laugh considering he's 1/4 Jamaican 😂
