Hi its Avery! Thanks so much for using my grocery list. Its nice to represent the college kids in this video, Vi did an amazing job with the hodgepodge of ingredients.
Hi this is Drew! It was so fun to be a part of this episode! My son and I loved watching Lily cook “our foods daddy”! I will say if lily didn’t overcook the eggs and got an 8 instead of a 7 from V we would’ve tied!!! Haha, Lily I am proud of you still!!
I'm not a scientist, but I'm guessing the reason why resealable packaging never works for Josh is that he uses a knife to cut them open.
"If I have picky eaters.... I'm giving them up for adoption, just like I was" 😂 I love Lily so much haha
Y’all should do a “budget weeknight family meal battle” series with snap and EBT benefits being cut. Whoever wins can donate to a charity.
One thing i've always appreciated about Josh, is there's never a "wrong" ingredient to have or use. He isn't ever judgemental about what things you use to cook as long as you're cooking. The cinnamon suger thing just reminded me of that.
Halfway through, and Josh‘s reaction when the pizza dough canister opened was worth needing to use premade dough in order to stay within $100. Thanks, Mythical Crew; this was so much fun! And I’m going to enjoy the heck out of playing with these recipes. :) And pssst - you were supposed to have normal sherry and fresh mushrooms, so maybe Kroger was out? And yes, parsnips rule! Love you guys. :)
Since we’re essentially entering a Great Depression, can we bring back Great Depression meals and see if they still hold up (both taste and cost wise)?
EGGS: take from both ends so they dont pile up on one end making it lopsided and more prone to being dropped.. a balanced egg carton stays in hand
10:36 "Why did you grab the eggs from opposite ends?" BECAUSE THE CARTON NEEDS TO STAY BALANCED
