4 weeks ago I was over 500lb.. After years of struggling with depression and overeating, I finally made the switch.. I educated myself on fasting and nutrition by watching channels like yours Will.. Now 4 weeks later, I’ve dropped 47lb, and am down to 452lb already.. Watch this space! 😊💪
January 2021,422 pounds, 4XL shirt size, 52 size pants and they didn't fit. Started watching your videos and gradually taking the steps for IF. I eliminated sugar and high carb products. I began with 3 meals a day on a 8 hour window, then 2 on 6 hours and then OMAD. Became fat adapted and started walking 18-25 miles a week. Now down to 40 waist and 2 XL, I will weight myself on January 2022. Me and my family can't thank you enough Dr. SE. I'm 51 and never felt stronger and better in my life.
I lost the 8 lbs I wanted. At my annual physical, my PCP noticed and made a comment. When I mentioned IF, she rolled her eyes and said she was pleased with the weight loss but not necessarily my method. I’m ditching her!

This changed my life. I was 247 lbs about 6 months ago. I started keto and became fat adapted and lost 20 pounds. After two months I plateaued and started IF for 18:6 and lost more weight and now just finished my first long fast of 42 hours. I am down to 215 and will keep this eating as part of my life. I have never felt better in my life doing IF and a monthly longer fast of 2-3 days. I don't miss the carbs at all. Thank you Dr Sten!
The greatest risk associated with IF is listening to someone who desperately wants to discourage you from FINALLY controlling your relationship with food.
No dishes to wash and no meals to prepare = more ME time.

My doctor told me, you are already prediabetic, that alarmed me too much, after a few months, looking for help, and nothing, you doctor, after seeing your videos, I am already taking another direction, I have already started fasting, I was at 194 lbs and today 11/30/25 I already weigh 180.8 lbs. and we are going for more weight loss, I feel much better.
