Notice that a few months after this interview where she was talking up Tesla she's since dramatically reduced her holdings in them. Kind of makes sense -- she talks them up, other people buy Tesla stock, and she sells while they're higher. I wouldn't trust any big-time business person, as they're notorious for pulling the wool over our eyes. I mean, think about it, do you really think she's going to reveal all of her secrets?

I made the mistake of investing in ARKK based on her best year, and I lost half my investment. My other investments on average have grown 40% over the same period. Now, if she buys, I sell. If she sells, I buy. The last straw was NVDA.

So how did that work out: I am now age 65 & retired .. Investing in ARK funds has been a path to near financial ruin for me …. Investor beware..

I know she invested in the biotech co I was working at a few years ago based in SF. It recently went bankrupt. My investment went to $0. Now she’s invested in the next Biotech co I’m now working at. We’ll see what happens this time. As they say, no risk, no reward. On the other hand, real estate has been good.

That context matters when she's making a $1.5 million Bitcoin call. Also worth clarifying what that number actually is: it's ARK's *bull case*, not their base prediction. The base is $700K–$750K. She has since quietly trimmed the bull case to $1.2M because stablecoins are eating into a role she originally assigned to Bitcoin. Not exactly a confidence booster. Biggest issue with this episode? One guest, zero pushback. ARK holds Bitcoin through its own ETF — that's a direct financial interest in you believing this forecast. A single macro skeptic on that panel would have changed everything. Instead, viewers got a one-sided pitch dressed up as analysis. Good shows challenge their guests. This one didn't, and a lot of people making financial decisions deserved better.
