The true lesson is that Mark and Wade can't for the life of them write purely happy children stories lol
I'm Korean-American like Mark and when i was young my first children's story was a Korean folktale called "The Green Frogs" about two young frogs who always disobeyed their mother. They would stay in bed when she told them to get up, they would make a mess when she told them to clean up, they would croak backwards when she taught them how to croak. A few seasons later, mother frog began to die. She wanted to be buried on a hill, but because her kids always did the opposite, she told them to bury her by the river. When she passed, the young frogs were stricken with grief and together they agreed to obey their mother just once...they buried her by the river, and when it rained, her body was swept away. The frogs were left with nothing but their regrets, and this is why frogs cry in the rain. ...Yep, this was my first children's story...Wade and Mark were onto something with the dark themes lol (tho to be fair, many non-English kids stories are dark)
Mark looks like he's recording for a true crime documentary
Wades new daddy story was actually really nice! Maybe that’s something he should do.
I don’t know why Bob is surprised by this anymore. You’d think he’d see this coming after “The Bobs and the Bees”.
Roseate Spoonbill Robert sounds like a modern day Hans Christian Andersen story

"though machines may work, in our stead Imagination can't be led" - the machine Mark outsourced his imagination to
Right after Bob said "accountants" and Mark said no, I got an ad for The Accountant 2. I just needed someone else to know this.
