Also on Amazon: https://noviumdesign.shop/crQH4A 2025 is … was the international year of quantum science and technology. Yes because quantum tech is increasingly important, but especially because quantum mechanics was invented 100 years ago this year. In 1925, our strangest true theory went from being a peculiar set of ideas to describe some funny results from experiments, to a full-blown theoretical framework that overturned how we think reality really works. So today, as the centenary year approaches its end I want to take you on a little journey through what may be the most paradigm-destroying several months in scientific history. Happy to report that the video showed up instantly! I like the direction that this datapoint suggests the channel might be going. Clearly, additional evidence is needed.

"Reinvented matrix maths because he didn't know it existed" wasn't on my list of Heisenberg facts, what an utter madman... in the most complimentary way.

I am an 81 year old grandmother. I do not have the education to explain what this video tells me but while I am watching and listening, I am able to grasp enough of the information you present so well that I seem to somehow get the idea. I am so bored with nonsense and AI so thank you for something interesting.

An important bit of lore: when Heisenberg told Einstein that he based his quantum theory on Einstein's great idea of "observability", Einstein replied that observability itself is a part of a given theory: it is a theoretical concept, not an experimental fact. What is fundamentally unobservable in one theory may become fundamentally observable in another.

Have I ever remarked how great it is to have access to such high level academics and scientists as we are afforded here on YouTube, present company thoroughly included? And further, that whatever material they are communicating should be dumbed down enough that those of us who are not in that discipline can still get a basic idea of what's going on. That has been a very cool part of our modern world And I hope we never lose it
