I live in Fargo. The Fargo Police chief abruptly "retired" about a week before this went public. People were surprised but now it makes sense. They let him "retire" instead of being fired. What a disgrace.

We should be afraid because you're supposed to be innocent UNTIL PROVEN guilty.

Throwing someone in jail and saying it's up to THEM to clear their name. Literally guilty until proven innocent.

They arrest a grandmother for crime she did not commit, meanwhile they had no idea about the pedophile ring on an island passing around hundreds of millions of dollars, not even trying to hide it.

They were absolutely hoping she froze to death after she was released. Much easier for the department to investigate themselves and find no wrongdoing that way. Horrific.

I only see this getting worse. Age verification harvest IDs and face scans > A breach occurs > Stolen IDs get used in crimes > AI sends innocent people to jail.

As someone from Fargo, Fargo can get to -30ish F in the winter or worse. The fact they didn’t give her any sort of winter clothing tells me that they were 100% leaving her outside to die so they didn’t have to deal with the aftermath from this.
