Description

AI is changing SaaS, but not everything. I break down the 5 fundamentals that still determine whether your business survives, and why ignoring them means no amount of AI will save you. All of the points mentioned are so true. Unfortunately, many "founders" still don't understand this

The churn point is the one that doesn't get talked about enough. A lot of what I see is founders hiring for the AI hype cycle instead of the motion. They bring in someone who can sell the promise but cannot close the gap when the product doesn't deliver. That retention problem often starts in the hire before it shows up in the data.

In two weeks, I’ll have about 200 free hours per month to experiment with SaaS ideas and services. I’m planning to try a different strategy this time. I want to ride the AI wave by focusing on a specific niche of PEOPLE rather than just a type of problem (which was my previous approach). I’ll spend time with that community - doing customer discovery, networking, and learning their pain points. As a full-stack dev, I’ll build them some AI-based PoCs and websites to see what sticks. - there will be also free consulting (to get more insights) We’ll see how it goes! I’ll also be regularly consulting with the Startup Community Poznań to get feedback and advice from more experienced founders. Any of the commenters, do you have any questions? Any clues to that approach? I will be more than happy to hear your opinion :)

Great content as always. If you’re open to improving thumbnails for higher CTR, I’d be glad to share some suggestions.
