Description

Interstellar object 3I/ATLAS is headed straight towards Jupiter - the largest planet in the Solar System - and host to the Ganymede, the largest moon in the Solar System. Ganymede interestingly has two striking characteristics that make it surprisingly similar to Earth, the only planet in the Solar System currently known to harbor life, and Jupiter is the perfect place to colonize and control the Solar System from, if a force chose to do so. Geophysicist Stefan Burns explores the unusual moon Ganymede, it's potential relationship with life, and what 3I/ATLAS is doing in March of 2026. No coincidence that the government shut down the very satellite, we needed to see what it actually was till it was gone.

They have found life in underwater hot sulphur beds on Earth so when people speculate about what might be out there they really have no idea. Just because Life as we know it requires oxygen doesn't necessarily mean oxygen would be required across the universe to sustain totally different forms of life.

Hey everyone! What do you think? Not only about Ganymede but also 3I/ATLAS? Is NASA right or wrong in saying it's a comet? When do you think the next interstellar object will be discovered? Look to the stars and stay curous!

RIP Carl Grillmair. Astrophysicist found water on planets, then shot dead on his porch in the middle of the desert. 🧐🤔

There's no reason to believe that alien life has the same needs as ours.

Very cool. I did not know Ganymede had a magnetic field and an O2 rich atmosphere.
