I hope OP educates herself on how that “religion” works. *Her BF is lying to her.* Scientologists MUST disconnect from all family members/friends who aren’t strictly active Scientologists (those who aren’t paying for all the classes, paying their way up the Bridge, getting on the e-meter (basically confession). If he’s around his family and _the Sea Org_ he’s 100% an active Scientologist + WILL try to recruit her. She needs to RUN. There’s a podcast by + about former members called “Growing Up in Scientology” that is very educational about how it works. It’s facinating from a safe distance.

Last story: I lost my mother suddenly when I was 4 years old. Her and my dad were big on making VHS home videos. I am forever grateful for those. Hearing her voice. Seeing her face. I feel like it is a silver lining OP has a few months to make those special moments for his daughter so she will grow up knowing how much he loves her. Letters for each birthday, videos telling stories from childhood and falling in love with her mom. Telling her about his favorite music, food, movies, hobbies. I cried my eyes out for OP listening to the post. Thank you for including Morgan I think we all needed a good emotional release 🥹

omg if you guys haven’t deep dived into scientology pls do, it’s some of the craziest stuff you’ll ever hear. literally one of the more powerful guys in the “religion” has a wife who hasn’t been seen in a very long time with no explanation, so scary. honestly morgan that could be a greatttt episode of your new podcast!!

As someone who lost my dad at 5, MAKE ALL THE VIDEOS. She will have faint memories, but those videos will mean the absolute world in feeling connected to you and making you feel real. I only had photos and the voicemail he left my grandparents before he took his own life.. It's so hard to hear him cry in his last moments of life, but hearing his voice for the first time (when they shared it with me a couple years ago) made him feel like a real person in my life and not just some sort of made up story. Take the photos with your baby girl, but please please please take as many videos as you can. Record every moment with her, and she will be so grateful to feel connected to you for the rest of her life.
