Why give money to corrupt system?
I am sick of hearing "America, Land of the Free." It makes me cringe with disgust!
If I had the money I would leave immediately and never look back.
If I could afford to leave, I'd go in a heartbeat. This is not the country I grew up to love.
You can never have enough passports
My friend renounced his American citizenship in Europe back about 10 years ago. He said they were extremely rude at the embassy threatening him with the statement l: "You know you can never become a US citizen ever again?". He smiled and confirmed "I didn't plan to." Bye Felicia 👋
When we lived in Seoul, I would NEVER call the U.S. Embassy. I would have my wife call the number for the Koreans at the Embassy. They would actually answer the phone and help you. Also, the U.S. Embassy looks and feels like walking into a prison. All the Korean Consulates I've been to in the USA are in a regular office building and it feels like I'm just going to a lawyer's office or something. Much more pleasant.
During the pandemic 6000 people renounced their USA citizenship.
Moved to United States of America forty years ago and my country (Brazil) never asked me for a penny. Now I’m going back and I want the same deal from USA. 😊
Dual nationality is always fantastic and provides a lot of sense of freedom.
