they showed that Superman has PERSONALITY. He has layers... he's a person not JUST a superhero
Imagine that, a Superman who doesn't question himself when it comes to helping people.
Just love how his voice changed from Clark to Superman TRULY
the interview to me shows that Superman doesn't care about politics, all he cares about was that people were in danger and somebody needed to do something about it. exactly how I like him.
*"People were going to die!"* That line just shows that James Gunn truly understands who Superman is, and David Corenswet feels like going to be an amazing Superman🥹😁🦸🔥🐕 I love how the movie focuses on Clark living in a world that deems hope and optimism obsolete. Seeing Clark pushed to the point of questioning if Superman truly matters in today's world as he actively tries to help everyone and gets involved in wars and political ramifications, but ultimately reminded that the world needs hope, truly warms my heart, especially since now in the real world we desperately need some hope. Everything about this movie screams Superman, and I couldn't be happier as a Superman fan. I also love the visuals and the look of The Engineers powers look so cool. I can already tell Rachel and David's chemistry will be too cute, and Hoult is going to be an amazing Lex Luthor as he just exudes Lex's aura and the way he calls Superman as an "it" truly shows how deep his hatred goes
Just love the way how his voice changed from Clark Kent To Superman♥️
The way clark said people are going to die ….Yup thats superman for yaa
In most comics, Clark's parents are alive because they were always meant to be representative of a kind of idealistic American nuclear family that helped (and continues to help) their son find his moral and ethical center. A lot of the fun of Superman is always him flying home for a meal and to talk to his parents about stuff that's bothering him. The whole "pa kent dying" thing is an invention of the Richard Donner movie to motivate Superman to decide to become a hero.
Superman and Captain America (in Civil War) could be best friends. Cuz that was his stance. Not waiting for permission to save people’s lives.
I love they show Lois as actually being a competent investigative journalist.
