Why Apple, Samsung and Google Need Each Other

Actually, it's not the companies that hate each other; it's the people who use their devices who hate each other.

I never realized just how much money Google pays Apple to be the default search, i throw stats like that into ai carma as i’m watching these industry debates.

I know someone that used to work for Samsung, and he said internally, they referred to Apple as LO, which stood for "loved opponent"

I believe both companies sit together and laugh at us when they see us fighting over which is better 😂

Lesson Learned: We all need each other in this world. Peace.

Kinda like how ⋈ MKBHD, YouTube & myself need each other

Divided by ecosystems, united by economics.

This is the main reason why phone wars are the dumbest things ever.

Just to clarify for anyone interested. Samsung Mobile (which makes Galaxy phones) and Samsung Display (which makes screens) are two different divisions within the larger Samsung group. Samsung Mobile competes directly with Apple, but Samsung Display is actually a supplier and does not compete with Apple, it sells display panels to Apple and many other companies. Even within Samsung, the display division sells its screens to the mobile division, they don’t just hand them over for free.

8:44 Google needs Samsung to scale Android on a global level.. and Samsung needs Google for its software and app ecosystem. Definitely a symbiotic relationship.
