The problem is NOT the O6 but the deterioration degradation and oxidation of the seed oils
Ok, but why have seed oils when I can have tallow?
Seed oils are a hard no from me. They keep me inflamed
He won't change my mind.
Get the sardines in water, not contaminated with questionable oils. Add melted butter if you must.
Hexane is used to extract seed oil from the crushed seeds and trace amounts of hexane remain in seed oils. The levels are below what regulatory agencies consider hazardous, but knowing that the United States considers many food additives safe when European nations consider the same additive harmful, makes me wonder if these hexane levels really are safe.
Were seed oils part of our ancestral diet? I'll continue to avoid them like the plague
Merry Christmas from Boondocks Arizona. I aint gonna eat machine lubricant no matter what anybody says. It just aint fittin.
Trying to OK seed oils is really grasping
I work as a chef and we put Rapeseed oil (Canola) fortified with silicone in the deep fat fryers , and I have been in kitchens where this oil (with top ups) is on high heat 16 hours a day for 5-6 days if no ones bothering to clean regularly, and its black. I really try not to eat anything thats cooked in them ,it's got to be toxic . At home I use butter , Extra virgin olive oil and cold pressed rapeseed oil .it's used once and discarded ...I don't know all the science except the less processed and natural food is the better it will be for us.
