I guess the take away from this is try to become fat adapted with sufficient protein intake before attempting an extended fast.

I abused my body by eating junk food for about 50 years. Was extremely obese with type ll diabetes and high blood pressure. Kinda woke up when I moved to Costa Rica and my creatine level got way to high. Instead of moving back home and seeing a specialist I began doing 36 hour fasts twice a week. Praise the Lord because one year later and I am no longer obese. No longer have high blood pressure and no longer a type ll diabetic. I have loads of energy and for a 70 year old , a great sex life. Thank you Dr Boz.

I fasted for 30 days in a medical facility and was able to reduce inflammation and avoid hip surgery.

Do not fast daily more than 16 hour Never carried extra weight. I’m 66 Diagnosed 2 years ago with Multiple Myeloma Ketogenic diet was great. Now on carnivore diet my GKI IS 1.1 blood glucose 4.2 ketones 3.7 my food values are 81% fat 18% protein 1% carbs 2400 calories on treatment and my last bloodwork numbers are moving in the right direction. I do lots more than just the carnivore exercise with weights daily but only train each body part twice a week. Treadmill as well. Eating sardines every other day take D3 10,000 K2 100 mcg J. Crow’s iodine Lugol’s solution 2% 6 drops daily. Fenbendazole 444 Ivermectin 24gs and Milk Thistle 150mg doing my best oncologist does not know and cannot tell them. Best of luck friends we need to try.
