While there are a lot of cirrhosis symptoms, there are a few main warning signs you need to be aware of. Cirrhosis is end-stage liver disease. With liver cirrhosis, a person’s normal cells are replaced with scar tissue. This typically starts with inflammation. Many different things can cause inflammation in the liver, like alcohol, drugs, and refined carbs. A fatty liver can also develop inflammation. The liver has incredible reparative cells that lay dormant until they are triggered by chronic inflammation. But, you still lose function. A loss of liver function can increase your risk for liver cancer. It can also cause a bile deficiency, which can affect your digestion and the elimination of cholesterol and toxins. Liver damage can lead to many other health issues that affect the entire body. Top warning signs of cirrhosis: 1. Dark urine 2. Mood and personality changes 3. Ascites (fluid leaking from the liver into the abdomen) 4. Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes) 5. Tiredness 6. Right upper abdominal discomfort 7. Itchy, hot feet What to do for cirrhosis of the liver: 1. Stop the root cause (carbs, alcohol, drugs, etc.) 2. Take TUDCA (750 to 1500 mg per day on an empty stomach) 3. Take tocotrienols (300 mg per day) 4. Consume more cruciferous vegetables 5. Get on the Healthy Keto diet 6. Start doing intermittent and prolonged fasting Keep in mind that medications can also affect the liver. Milk thistle is a fantastic natural remedy for the liver and many other conditions—it would be worth talking to your doctor about. If you have an autoimmune disease that affects the liver, you may want to try bovine liver pills to help reduce inflammation and reset the liver. Check with your doctor before stopping or replacing any medications. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 57, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. 🤷 My Doc is still in shock and wondering, how the hell did she heal herself of liver cirrhosis 🤷🤷. Hmm,😘😘 if I could finally heal myself without doctor's help against all odds even when my Doc said I will be needing a transplant then anybody who is determined and disciplined enough to avoid and accepts the dos and don't of such illness or even others can heal themselves too. Sending life and positive energy to all who are struggling to heal themselves naturally. This is me saying natural healing is possible. God bless you Doc Berg, you re my number 1 inspiration on this journey of self healing and helping others heal themselves too..

I was given 24-48 hrs. to live. If anything past that, i would be put on hospice. After two weeks of intense regimented hospital care, i was released. Death was imminent. I began a diet of leafy greens, beet juice, green tea, fruits and doubled up on milk thistle. It is 8 yrs. later and I am still here. A one in a billion chance. I like to think that my faith in God helped tremendously. Round the clock nurse care for those weeks didnt hurt.

I stopped drinking 20 months ago after about 40 years of drinking very heavily. Very happy I made that decision.

I’m 25 and alcohol has destroyed me I’m starting to see these kind of symptoms. Only thing I always do is fasting and holding on to that (lost 40 pounds) but I realize that it’s not enough. Time to put this to sleep and change my life for good.

I was diagnosed with cirrhosis in August of 2021 I immediately stopped drinking and began eating mor healthily nothing special just obvious stuff plus exercise, I was tempted many times to drink again ..I had tests like bereavement, exposure to party environments, lack of understanding from friends but I didn't crack pure willpower did it .. 20 month's later all my bloods are normal, my latest liver ultrasound scan revealed that everything was normal and I have an only mildly fatty liver..which is a complete turnaround from ascites, weakness, man boobs, pain in upper stomach yellow eyes swollen ankles, i still can't believe it.. the biggest test is to come, can I avoid a relapse into alcohol... What does help is videos like this showing that I am not alone and that you can survive cirrhosis..

I don't know who want to hear this. I got my liver damaged severely a year ago, after i watched this and some of Dr. Berg's videos regarding liver, i started doing below and now I'm (and my liver) totally 💯 healthy. 1. 16 HR fast - 8 HR eating window 2. First thing in morning empty stomach lemon water with very little ACV 3. After 30 min a coffee 4. After 30 min a breakfast with half raw onion and crushed 3-4 garlic cloves with small piece of ginger (raw) 5. Use olive oil for anything 6. 30 min exercise everyday 7. Sun exposure 10-20 min everyday 8. 2 meals including BF 9. Between meals used to eat grapefruit and Indian gooseberry. 10. Dont think much, dont google much, trust god and your own body's power to heal itself and allow it to heal by being happy most of the time. Eat healthy good luck.

My dad died at 63 from cirrhosis. He was an alcoholic. If you drink too much please consider stopping. My dad did stop once but started again after 2 years. His body was getting better then he relapsed. You never want to watch someone go thru that.

Nice one doctor. As an alcoholic who is aware of cirrhosis, this gives me more courage to stop. Addiction is a demon. Not easy to get over with.
