Two Citizenship Programs are Changing

The one thing everyone seems to always mention is "not enough due diligence". I wonder, what else can they do to have more due diligence? All programs require: * Police checks from the countries you've lived in for the last 10yrs (for more than a few months) * Proof of source of funds (AML/KYC - i.e. if its from a bank in a "western country" then its already proven legit, fully taxed and the AML/KYC info is already available due to govt information sharing) * A pointless letter from the bank that says you're a customer (bank references prove nothing if you've never been in overdraft or bankrupt - Australian banks won't issue these unless you've been in overdraft or bankrupt) * Declarations that you're not a criminal They already check law enforcement databases and INTERPOL databases. There's basically nothing else to check. The whole due diligence is basically a process that takes the govt a couple of hours (at the most) to do. All due diligence seems to be is a way for "name brand" countries to bully smaller countries and to justify stalling the whole process for a few months as from the govt side of things isn't anything beyond what I've just mentioned.

The plan in the UK is to make it much more tricky for migrants entering. The UK visa is going to mirror this. They argue that the infrastructure is stretched and unwanted people should look elsewhere. They'll open it up temporarily if they need workers with certain criteria at short notice & close it [as and when].

@nomadcapitalist I read on the net that some countries that generally accept dual citizenship do not allow you to get another country's citizenship after being naturalized (you lose their citizenship if you do get another one.) More especially, Uruguay and Mauritius. Can you please make a video with this topic regarding these 2 countries and others like them that are usually among nomad capitalist's countries. Thanks!
