Civilization is built not only on technology or institutions, but on shared knowledge that is openly exchanged, tested, and refined across generations. Common knowledge creates trust: it allows societies to coordinate, to anticipate risks, and to act collectively rather than in isolation. When knowledge is hoarded, distorted, or fragmented, civilizations become brittle—vulnerable to fear, misinformation, and exploitation. History shows that progress accelerates when learning is treated as a public good, grounded in ethics, humility, and accountability. In this sense, safeguarding common knowledge is not just an intellectual task, but a moral one, essential to sustaining justice, resilience, and the continuity of human civilization itself.

I really enjoy the diversity of topics spanned in these vids.
Wish this went on for another hour or two ❤🇨🇦
"Better late... " 2:18 - excellent example of the usage of common knowledge. The vast majority of us knew the rest of that phrase so he didn't feel the need to say it all.
A fun fact about toilet paper crisis, only people without a bidet bought tons of toilet paper. The moral of the story is "get a bidet"
Brilliant. Needs a part 2 for sure
What is going on here? Why does there appear to be a green screen behind Chuck? 27:04
38:55 I'm so happy that we have Chuck on the show so we don't have to sit through more of these Neil jokes 😭🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣
What an extraordinary episode! And kudos to the hosts for discussing matters equally important as physics 🙌🏻🙏
