Bro backed off the ads. Good job Danny 🎉
Little nod to terrance mckenna with the book title "death by astonishment" what a hero he was.
I'm 71. I'm a musician and a writer. I'm not famous nor am I wealthy insofar as money goes. But I have also never had children, not because I hate kids but because that Muse, that burning urge to create, was always the point of my life. So now, at 71, I spend my days writing, recording, and performing my own music. I play all the instruments, something I could not do at age 25 when I was only a guitarist. I have _improved_ with age. I never stopped wanting to get better, to turn my art into a better control interface for my soul. The idea that we are great when younger and then devolve to sucking when we are older is straight bullshit. The destroyer of creativity is the narrow, controlled, corporate mindset, socially engineered society in which we live. Or, to paraphrase the Bible--all those who live by the programming shall die by the programming.

Instead of giving DMT to kids, you can give it to people who were born blind and then compare results.
Irrespective of your views on Andrew's propositions about DMT, his storytelling and his ability to pull highly detailed salient facts from memory are exceptional. He's one of my favourite podcast guests on any show and I love everything he has written.
They are not "downloading chess moves" they are "learning to tune-in to new moves"
In his book, The Science of Enlightenment, the sober monk Shinzen Young describes seeing giant spectral insects superimposed over normal reality for weeks and when he ignored them they disappeared. Interesting.
When he was talking about ai, and humans starting to/or are losing things and abilities. It hit home for me, I can't recall or know a single phone number anymore. And it makes you think of the movie idiocracy.
