Wow, OP’s dad was pretty much hand feeding OP to a predator, thank goodness her instincts were on high alert, either that or Steve was this much of a creep that he couldn’t even hide it. Also I wonder if the other vendors are thinking of taking their businesses elsewhere considering he doesn’t give a damn about other people’s safety.

First Story: OP's gut feeling about Steve was right. Steve is a garbage human being. The stall owner is a garbage human being for not only knowingly hiring a serial r*pist but essentially defend this monster. It's horrible no one told OP anything considering she could’ve been this man's next victim, especially OP's dad

Third Story: People like OP's ex are scum in my eyes. I don’t believe she didn’t cheat on OP with this friend. Also, she basically strung OP along for 2 years and when they were about to take the next step she just dips. OP deserves someone better than this woman and I have a feeling the relationship with this friend will fail and become on and off again a second time

Oof, that first story reminds me of that one pottery place in Boston that blew up once people on social media began to compare notes and realize that, along with the place just being incredibly scammy, they were employing a level three offender while marketing themselves to "girls' nights" and parties for children!

In my country, we have a say for situations like the second story: "El hijo favorito es siempre el más pendejo", which translates to "The favorite child is always the stupid one". I swear, putting all the effort and attention in keeping afloat one single child, while ignoring the other's needs is the quickest way to break up a family and grow resentment among them

"Despite screwing you over cheating on you and ghosting you and ending the relationship of wrongfully I would like us to be friends in the future" Honestly I could never understand wanting to be friends with your ex nor do I believe that such a thing is possible especially if you were friends prior to dating.
