I would have gone feral if someone “forgave” me for having a still birth. WTF is there to forgive?!
Dude really asked her to sign off on his (obvious and ongoing) affair right after he blamed her for their child’s death…what a irredeemable POS
First story I was so sure they had already did the deed and wanted to have OP agree because the coworker was already pregnant
The moment he said i forgive you for losing our child is the moment you ask for a divorce, btw he is already cheating
I think people are missing the part where if it's the coworkers egg and she carries the baby, how does OP actually gets said baby without all the official documentation in place? Like coworker can easily just decide she's keeping the baby and be able to have the husband in her life forever because of it. This would have been a monumentally stupid decision and I'm glad OP wasn't manipulated into it.
Story 1: Pressuring your wife to give pregnant and “forgiving her” for the still birth is absolutely disgusting
“All I’ve ever wanted was to be a mother.” So she was going to give away her first child conceived naturally from her work crush? Yeah right. That wasn’t going to be a surrogacy, she was going to steal the wife’s life and keep the baby
About Story #1, OP and her husband need to go separate ways. They may love each other, but clearly have different life goals. This is not excusing the husband's behavior at all, but it is pointing out that OP's husband's life goal is to be a dad, while OP seems more career oriented. My fear is that OP's husband has already cheated, and will ultimately leave OP for the "surrogate" when she magically decides to keep the baby.
Story 2: Damn…REALLY makes you think how much of a POS the wife is if literally EVERYONE in her family is on Op’s side…
"Surrogate" wants OP's husband
