What especially rings true to me is the need for distraction due to restlessness. I love to read but in recent stressful times I find it hard to focus for more than a few minutes on anything and now I understand why I’m constantly looking for something really engaging on TV to blank out my mind. Thanks for all your interesting guests and being real.

OMG! I recieved your email this morning about this podcast and as I was reading it I thought "Holy crap! That's me!" About 15 minutes into listening I realized that I was revving in my head about how long the podcast was and when was it going to finish, would I have time to do what I had to do? I took a deep breath, told myself that this was important and finished the whole thing. It took about an hour longer as I took notes and re-listened to parts. I've learned a lot about myself and my daughter. I now have a way forward, I can't thank you enough! Thank you Mel!

Need Prayers my life is connected to drama but it’s my spouse who is addicted . Her stress becomes my stress it’s exhausting 🙏
