Oh, EXCELLENT! I had the honor and thrill of playing violin on the score for this film! Recorded at Todd-AO/CBS in Studio City, California, the music is a brilliant mix of synth and acoustic elements written and produced by Harry Gregson-Williams and Trevor Rabin. Enjoy, everyone!
This movie was beyond a head of it time. It is now prophetic. RIP Gene Hackman
" I blew up the building "!! "Why" " CAUSE YOU MADE A PHONE CALL"!!!!! Gene Hackman along with AL Pacino has the best yelling voice
The movie that you were thinking of with Gene Hackman and Owen Wilson is called Behind Enemy Lines, which is a good movie
Addendum... this was released three years before 9/11. The Patriot Act signed into law by Bush 43 basically legalized this sort of activity through FISA warrants. So this film was prescient.
This movie was so shocking in 98. Scary thing about it is, whatever you think is frightening in this movie, only three years after this release the US government issued laws that dwarfs all that was shown in this movie
Once again, the 80s and 90s movies show why it was the greatest period for movies.
I like to think of this movie as an unofficial sequel to The Conversation.
Man, RIP to Tony Scott and Gene Hackman. Badass duo in a film.
Gene Hackman did a movie in the 70's called "The Conversation" where he played a surveillance expert. Interesting he played this role all these years later.
