The Chinese built the Tiangong because it was excluded from the International Space Station (ISS), they built their BeiDou Navigation Satellite System because their ship was left stranded when gps was turned off all these will backfire.

The Chinese strategy is sound. Give away free tech so the rest of the world doesn't become dependent on Silicon Valley for AI.

It should be crystal clear to all by now. All Yankee tech companies are actually in the laundry business.

I'm in Australia and more and more China feels like the more stable, reliable partner. It also looks more technically advanced because the technology isn't just about sucking in vast amounts of venture capital.

It's not just the software stack, but in the near future, China will control the entire vertically integrated stack including hardware utilizing scalable AI chiplets, depending on use case. Throw in an SoC that incorporates RISC-V plus chiplets. China's goal was not only to break the Western Tech Bros, but to make AI ubiquitous everywhere, leveraging China's advanced manufacturing prowess. Not just Cloud Computing but Edge Computing and embedded systems. Now throw in a 6G network and you have an AI mesh with ultra low latency and local intelligence which can utilize the more powerful cloud computing systems when needed.

Look at the Palestinians. A real open air prison camp and what the Israeli did to them right now with the full support of The States, would the Uyghur be of any significance?

BYD electric cars are already on European roads, and getting bigger than ever, there are only a few Tesla here and there not a great deal. BYD fully loaded from 20,000 to 30,000 with free service for 5 years or more

I'm watching from Nairobi Kenya and its true, most of my friends who are tech startup like myself are into more of what China is trying to do as it seems to be more accessible , cheaper pragmatic in so many levels! This is why i think America techies should kinda stop politickin n just build stuff better and compete in the free markets. Even my prototypes we take them to China and they r becoming leaders in tech alot of ways!

When it comes to human rights, I think the US should look in the mirror.
