Low Birth Rates will sort itself out in 50 years. Those who have values that align with family and having children will be the only ones to propagate and pass their values on to the next generation. Those that prioritizie career and self will end up dying out and will not pass that value forward.

What Simone and Malcom have discovered is that changing the hearts and minds of people consumed by the Urban Monoculture (progressives and their enablers) is now pointless. They have been overwritten. Abandon them and move on. If they find themselves at the mercy of an ideology they despise it is their fault, they caused themselves to dwindle into impotence.

That something as fundamental to the human experience as having children has been so deeply politicized baffles me

They are kind of explaining why progressives care so much about the schools and access to more control over children as opposed to parents. It’s a survival mechanism for propagating their value system. They need to recruit young people.

You can be anything you want to be, but you can't have it all. You only get so much time and energy to make the life you want.

Because the cause is inconvenient, the solution is inconvenient and consequently even acknowledging the problem is inconvenient. It’s a simple problem with an obvious cause and an easy solution but first we’d have to acknowledge that our entire world view and ethical standards are flawed fundamentally.
