No, that's not at all how it was made. I was there when the Grand canyon was made because I dug it entirely by hand.

I was not an Arizona fan, since I am not a heat person and for some reason "Arizona" sounds to me like dessert. But, I always hear people talking about Grand Canyon and its beauty. so, I wanted to do a road trip and I was like well if I go from Dallas to Oregon, I would love to stop at the Grand Canyon and see it, just for the experience. We did the road trip on December 2024, before arriving to the entrance, we stopped at a gas station and the cashier was, where you guys going? My husband responded, we are here to see the Grand Canyon my wife want to see it. To what he responded, is just a hole in the ground you are not missing anything, I was like, okay😮. Well, that hole in the ground made me cry, is just amazingly beautiful, huge, you feel like a very little piece of earth in front to that immensity. Was an amazing experience and now is one of my favorite places, next to Sequoia national Park and Yosemite Park.

Earth is truly a dynamic planet to call home. The Grand Canyon is truly one of earth's natural wonders. And we humans come to take it for granted.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to the Grand Canyon. Pictures just don’t do it justice. Absolutely stunning.

I did not expect such a through yet concise explanation of the entire formation of the Grand Canyon. This video was put together well. Thank you.

I came here after a flight over the Canyon and you could see the water lines in the rock from the old ocean. It was super neat

My first time seeing the Grand Canyon was in March of 2010. As I stood near the tower, at the south rim, my emotions of seeing the amazing site of the Grand Canyon, was total and puré amàzement . My partner asked me what I was thinking and I to ouldn't speak . Tears were pouing from my eyes. Is there something more spectacular on this Earth, I doubt my heart could stand the emotion of looking at it. If you have not seen the Grand Canyon, don't waste time . Get there as soon as you can and don't miss it.

I've been to the canyon a few times and it's always stunning. I'm a geologist by training and one of my former professors, Dr. Richard Young seen in this episode, is the person who got the first two big questions answered. How old and how long did it take. It's truly amazing what nature has created and it's almost as amazing that we can figure it out, mostly.
