It’s basically a completely new shoe! Ran a 5:40 mile in these straight out of the box and i can say that at times i had to hold myself back they are simply just insane....wouldn't take them over a 5k due to being unable to maintain the pace needed to get the best out of the shoe.

I am a minimalist shoe runner who runs a half-marathon wearing the Merrell Trail Glove 4. I wore the Nike Streakfly 2 for a 15 kilometer run. The shoe is just awesome! It is so light and bouncy, it makes you run so much faster. I'm looking forward to running a half-marathon wearing the Streakfly 2.

Adios 9 is good for track workouts and has nice grip. Can still do track 400 reps within 1-2 seconds of track spike times

Insane shoe. I’d recommend you warm up and cool down in another shoe and do session in these. I managed 8.5 miles in my first session which I did the WU and CD in. Legs felt it the following day.

Great review ❤ I just jogged 2.2 miles Sunday two days ago. I've only run twice since my girlfriend of 20yrs plus passed away June 4th, then a house fire October 3rd 2025.I've ran 2:23:25 for 26.2 46yrs ago (yikes time flies)Anyway I had planned to get in some shape 4 months before a local flat 5k (Run the Runway) Thank you for the nice review 😀 After the fire I only grabbed vaporfly 3 and 4 no trainers. I ordered the Streakfly 2 and will be getting it tomorrow(Wednesday)..Your reviews are excellent and Bye the way it's inspiring to watch you run ❤ Your running form is very smooth as you glide across the roads.... At 71 February 17th 2026 and I hope to run under 30 minutes and not be passed by people pushing baby joggers with 2 or 3 toddlers on-board.😂 Thanks Again for the Great Review(s)

These shoes are wild. Superrrr aggressive like chillll Nike. I just got mine in and they are definitely not for casual running. They are a bit too snug ( I should’ve sized up a half) but I ordered them online and it was final sale 😅 but these def make you more aware of your running technique. (I had to get used to it) I almost have this visual of a jaguar’s paw roll off the ground whenever I push off my forefoot because the entire shoe is basically jello except right at the midsole/toe section it gets really stiff and you can really “feel” the ball of your feet and toes work as a unit as you roll and bounce off. It just felt like I had these thick sturdy paws for feet. The rolling action is almost unnoticeable because it’s so quick by the time you land you already get into the forefoot launch pad. Another thing I noticed is I am learning to use my whole set of toes and applying force equally from all of them rather than being big toe dominant. These shoes really make you utilize your pinky toe lol overall the shoe is not as flexible as I’d like them to be, the shoe also cuts way to close into the medial side a bit too much so if you land on your medial side or heel a bit, you should avoid this shoe completely

Excellent video as always, my only gripe with V1 was the paint in the midsole deteriorated quickly and it had some issue with easily detaching from the midsole as well
