Tara Erickson & Aaron Alexander dive into Alice in Borderland Season 2 Episodes 4, 5, & 6, the high-stakes Netflix Japanese sci-fi thriller based on the hit manga by Haro Aso. The series follows Arisu (Kento Yamazaki – Kingdom, Your Lie in April), a young man trapped in a deadly parallel Tokyo where survival depends on beating lethal games, and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya – Orange, Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno), a skilled mountaineer who becomes his partner. In these intense episodes, Arisu and Usagi continue their quest to solve the mystery of the Borderland while facing increasingly brutal challenges, including the terrifying King of Clubs game, which forces teamwork and betrayal into sharp focus. We also see more from Chishiya (Nijirō Murakami – Rurouni Kenshin: The Final, The Boy and the Beast), who uses his cunning intellect to outwit players in mind-bending contests. Other key players include Kuina (Aya Asahina – Grand Blue, Girl Gun Lady) and Ann (Ayaka Miyoshi – GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka), both of whom grapple with trust and survival in shocking ways. Highly searched and iconic moments include the brutal and emotional stakes of the King of Clubs battle, new revelations about the Borderland’s rulers, the growing bond between Arisu and Usagi, and the show’s jaw-dropping visuals and action sequences that have made it one of Netflix’s most gripping international hits. #AliceInBorderland #NetflixSeries #KentoYamazaki #TaoTsuchiya #JapaneseDrama #MangaAdaptation #SciFiThriller #AliceInBorderlandSeason2 #TaraErickson #AaronAlexander #React #ReactTo #Reaction #BingeWatch #Bingeworthy #Manga #KingOfClubs #KingOfSpades #MovieReaction #FirstTimeWatching #Movie #Review #MovieReview Kill Bill Vol 1. 49:40 the queen couldn't be tagged, as the leader of the team. Just like the King couldn't be tagged on the opposing team.

Fun details about Jack of Hearts: -Matsushita being the Jack was hinted at the moment we first saw him, his hair covers his right eye and looking at an image of a Jack of Hearts playing card, the right eye can also not be seen since the head is turned to the side. -The 3 winners of the game (Chishiya, Banda, and Yaba) never had to directly lie to anyone about their suit. -Kotoko and Matsushita collecting and eating the biscuits they used to communicate was shown on screen multiple times in both episodes 3 and 4. -Banda and Yaba represent characters from Alice in Wonderland. Their full names are Banda Sunato and Yaba Oki which when said out loud sound similar to Bandersnatch and Jabberwocky, 2 types of monstrous creatures found within Wonderland (anyone who has seen the 2010 film may be slightly more familiar with these creatures). -Using the biscuits to communicate each others’ suits secretly was original to the show. In the manga, Matsushita had a prosthetic eye (that was hidden behind his hair) that allowed him to see his suits at all times to ensure this survival even if he was lied to. -Chishiya never took part in this game in the manga and instead took part in the Jack of Diamonds game.

It'll all make sense by the end of this season why things happened the way it happened and it is a really good ending.

This really isn’t a big deal but I love that season 1 already hinted at Chishiya’s past in episode 2. Karube and Arisu go into the game’s lobby looking for a doctor to check on Chota’s leg, and they go “does anyone here look like a doctor?” or something, and the camera goes around all the players in the game and stops on Chishiya, the doctor in question lol I just think it’s nice that rewatching and knowing all the characters and their past, some subtle hints from earlier episodes get really easy to notice

The queen of spades cant be tagged. Thats why usagi not tagging her. Same as well as the kid because the queen chose him at the beginning as “king”.

After the ultimate revelation in the final episode, every line the main characters have said across seasons 1 and 2 takes on a whole new meaning — making a rewatch even more enjoyable.
