Not a bad podcast, people that are on the carnivore diet for just weight loss I think are missing the point, for me it is about metabolic health, the byproduct of eating this way will show up when you stand naked in front of a mirror. I am eating predominantly meat and animal fat, I also drink tea and coffee with heavy/whipped cream. I am 62 years old, I always thought waking up with aches and pains were part of getting older, waking up pain free for the last 2 years is what keeps me in this space. 👍🥩😎
I'm trying to eat only meat and eggs but I can't help but add a little bit of onion and garlic or some spices to my meat from time to time. So I guess I'm ketovore of sorts. Still, I have noticed great improvements in all areas of my health and life in general. 3 weeks and my depression and anxiety are gone - it was something I struggled with for the last 15 years. And it's all because of you, doc. Thank you. Your video about how plants are trying to kill us completely blew my mind and sent me into a carnivore rabbit hole :)
I always find the closer I get to 100% carnivore (meat eggs and water) the better I feel ❤
A side note on stevia, it interferes with your dopamine levels. I have ADHD so my dopamine is in short supply as it is and stevia consumption caused very severe restlessness so uncomfortable I was pacing the street at 3am. Beware of stevia especially if you have ADHD! I love how carnivore kills sweet cravings and regulates mood. I don’t need stimulants on carnivore.
My entire purpose of Carnivore was to get metabolically healthy. Off BP meds within 2 weeks, the overall health improved immediately, and weight just fell off. I started at 122 lbs. so I wasn't overweight......but I lost 22 lbs, and have maintained this for 22 months. I'm into my 3rd year and will do this forever.
We need to get rid seed oils and promote tallow, lard and butter!
I'm eating two meals in day, eggs and bacon in first meal and beef in second. I'm also drink one cup of pure black decaf coffee in morning, it doesn't harm me at all. My rosacea almost totally gone in those three months and my hip bone on bone arthritis is much better now (I can walk 45 minutes in one road and I couldn't walk even 10 minutes before).
One week on it. Biggest change is my chronic turbine inflammation in my nose is gone, I can finally wake up in the morning rested without breathing from the mouth. That only is worth everything. Fought with shitty sleep my whole life and was very detrimental as an athlete! Super vivid and lucid dreams every night. Weight loss, no more cravings either, amazing results. Keto flu lasted 2 days only, energy is going up everyday.
Dr Chaffee is absolutely right, there's no accountability for these obviously criminal acts that the food manufacturers, pharma & various other partners have perpetrated upon tens of millions of people. They influenced & wrecked the peoples health & lives. I hope MAHA will bring a change. Thank you for this great interview ❤
All I wanted was to stop being addicted to sugar, stop binge eating, and I can’t believe that after almost ten years, my early twenties spent hating myself and sometimes not leaving the house because I hated how I looked — I started doing the carnivore diet around three weeks ago, and I can’t believe it! I can walk past the sweets and baked goods sections in the market and not even blink or look back longingly. I’m still preparing for when the cravings might hit, eating lots of fat like it’s advised, not eating very many steaks yet, because I’m still figuring this out, budget wise as well, so ground beef, sometimes bacon and obviously eggs is now my staple. But! I have never ONCE been bloated, I’m not grumpy in the morning I’ve noticed, sometimes I even try to be but I have no reason 😂 I wake up easily, and I’m ready to go on with my day — this is insane! I thought those disciplined people were psychos, and now I see that discipline was never really my problem, my body was congested and tired from all the yo-yo dieting and all the sh** I’ve been putting in it for years. Thank you dear doctor for being one of the promoters of this lifestyle, and as I’ve seen many people write in comments under your videos — I too feel like I got my life back!
